By It’s yet another impressive addition to the PS5

According to trustworthy leaker BillBil-Kun, last year’s remarkable PS5 remake, Silent Hill 2, will spearhead the PS Plus Extra game selection for October 2025.
In a report shared on Dealabs, they mention that the title from Bloober Team and Konami is set to arrive in PlayStation’s mid-tier subscription. The lineup for this month is expected to be revealed next week, on the 15th of October. The games will then launch on the subsequent Tuesday, the 21st of October.
This month appears promising for Silent Hill 2, as the exclusivity period restricting it to only PS5 and PC is approaching its conclusion. This may indicate that ports to other platforms are on the horizon.
Regarding the game itself, we rated it a 9/10 upon its PS5 debut last year, concluding: “Much of what rendered the Konami classic a masterpiece in 2001 persists in this PS5 remake 23 years later, featuring the same unforgettable narrative, engaging exploration, and impactful combat. There were apprehensions leading up to the release, but Silent Hill 2 speaks for itself: a stunning experience that once again epitomizes survival horror at its finest.”
