Burning Springs expansion arriving in December

Nearly five years subsequent to the console’s debut, it has been announced that Bethesda will at last deliver Fallout 76 with a native PS5 version. The online title has consistently been accessible through backward compatibility, but wasteland adventurers have endured last-generation graphics and frame rates. Commencing next year, there will be a genuine PS5 edition of Fallout 76.

No specifics have been revealed regarding how significantly enhanced the game will appear and perform on next-gen platforms, so anticipate details on resolutions and target frame rates to be unveiled closer to the launch. It is set to debut in early 2026.

In the interim, Fallout 76 will receive a complimentary update featuring the Burning Springs expansion. This introduces The Ghoul from the Amazon Prime television series into the game, with Walter Goggins reprising his role. You can view some footage extracted from the new content in the trailer above.

The expansion boasts the largest map enlargement in Fallout 76’s timeline, with the new zone containing “the fierce Rust King, combat desert Deathclaws, and ally with friends in two fresh public events.” It will be accessible starting 2nd December 2025.
