Ready, fight

Evo has fleshed out its schedule ahead of the weekend, confirming we can expect some big announcements from the likes of Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Virtua Fighter, and more on Sunday, 3rd August.
In a social media post, the tournament organiser revealed there’ll be “features and announcements from fighting game devs before every Top 8”. This is usually when new characters and content debuts.
Here’s the full wording from its correspondence:
“Tune in on Sunday to hear from Invincible VS, Guilty Gear Strive, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Virtua Fighter, Tekken 8, Street Fighter, and more.”
It’s worth noting there will be a series of panels on Friday, 1st August as well.
This is where you can expect to see some fresh gameplay and learn new information about a variety of titles, with Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls among the spotlighted titles from 8PM PDT.
Look out for a Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection release date announcement at 12:30PM PDT as well, as Digital Eclipse is hosting a panel. We’ll also hopefully get a complete list of included titles in the compilation during that presentation.
We’re putting together a full schedule for everything happening at Evo this year, and you can expect to find that on the homepage tomorrow, so it should help you navigate all of the different events.
Is there anything in particular you’re hoping to see at Evo this year? Ready up in the comments section below.
