All in the mind
MindsEye, the curious action shooter from ex-GTA veteran Leslie Benzies, has finally been handed an official look at gameplay. The problem, though, is that it’s encased within a tiny 30-second trailer.
This is a title that’s been raising eyebrows for several months now. Due out for PS5 in just a few weeks, on the 10th June, we’ve seen very little of the project up until this point, despite the fact that it all looks fairly big budget.
Potential fans have had to be satisfied with a leak that occurred last week, but even then, the footage looked a bit… off. It’s hard to explain; while we’d never want to cast judgement on a release that we’re yet to play, the overall scope of MindsEye remains something a mystery.
As such, it’ll be very interesting to see how the release is received. We’re hoping that this one turns out to be a surprisingly fun romp — the game’s official description calls it a “narrative driven, single-player action-adventure thriller”, and on paper, that sounds promising.

A little too much, some might say.
