Diablo 4’s Berserk Crossover DLC Costs an Insane $150

Berserk has arrived in Diablo 4, and wow, it’s certainly going to turn heads.

Blizzard has been hinting at this crossover for several weeks, with earlier press announcements revealing that the most exciting items would be found in the game’s premium cosmetics store. However, it’s the staggering price tags that are making waves.

Let’s break it down (credit to Reddit user HilltopHood). There are six distinct cosmetic packs available. Four feature legendary Berserk-themed costumes, one is a new mount, and the final one unlocks a pet. Unfortunately, there’s no package that compiles all these items at a reduced rate.

The class-oriented outfits are priced at 2,800 Platinum (Diablo 4’s premium currency) each, which translates to $24.99. Therefore, if you’re aiming for Guts’ Berserker armor for your Barbarian, Guts’ Struggler armor and Griffith’s armor for your Rogue, as well as Skull Knight’s armor for your Necromancer, you’re looking at just shy of $100.

Add in the Warhorse mount (another 2,800 Platinum), plus The Schnoz pet (a slightly lower 2,500 Platinum), and you’re nearing $150. This is due to the absence of a ‘microtransaction’ option between a mere 1,000 Platinum and 2,800 Platinum.

Consequently, the most economical way to obtain all of the Berserk items is to shell out the full $149.99 for the game’s largest Platinum bundle—18,500—which leaves you with 2,000 Platinum remaining after acquiring all the Berserk packs.
