Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is poised to receive a full, free-to-play sample for PS Plus Premium subscribers.
Kojima Productions’ newest entry only launched a handful of weeks ago — solely on PlayStation 5 — so this opportunity is arriving rather swiftly. If you have yet to be convinced by the cinematic, trekking-centric odyssey, this half-decade hour tasting session might pique your interest.
We do issue a slight caveat, though: we’re not entirely certain how enlightening the opening five hours of Death Stranding 2 truly are. Even though it eases players in more fluidly than its predecessor, you’ll still spend ample time watching lengthy cinematics and absorbing the game’s fundamental systems.
Yet, in our opinion, Death Stranding 2 warrants every bit of spotlight it receives. We contend it’s a frontrunner for Game of the Year — something our ‘outstanding’ 10/10 critique clearly articulates.
The trial opens its doors next week—on 19th August—right alongside the newest arrival of PS Plus Extra and Premium additions.
