If you’re not entirely acquainted with Ys vs. Trails in the Sky — an older Falcom crossover brawler that’s making a comeback on PS5 and PS4 — we recommend viewing this latest trailer.
It showcases the game’s character lineup, featuring protagonists and antagonists from both the Ys and Trails franchises. Admittedly, you may need to have played several of the developer’s past titles to truly recognize many of these characters, yet it’s difficult to overlook the nostalgic allure that this offers.
We should also emphasize, as suggested by the trailer, that every character has received English voiceovers for this remaster. The revival even integrates rollback netcode for seamless online gaming.
Ys vs. Trails in the Sky is scheduled to launch this summer, although we don’t have a specific date as of now. Publisher Refintgames better expedite their process!
