Game frenzy

A while ago, Disney revealed intentions to engage more intimately with Fortnite, leading to numerous mini-seasons such as Star Wars and the ongoing The Simpsons crossover.
However, the collaboration will strengthen once more starting today with the launch of the Disneyland Game Rush, a new Island debuting within Epic’s all-encompassing game for a limited duration.
This crossover will feature seven unique minigames, all crafted to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Disneyland.
The choices are:
- Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Sneak Out! – Try to penetrate The Collector’s Fortress, inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT found in Avengers Campus.
- Haunted Mansion: Scavenger Haunt – Investigate and unveil secrets, inspired by the Haunted Mansion situated in New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park.
- Indiana Jones: Tomb Runner – Navigate through a perilous temple, inspired by Indiana Jones Adventure in Adventureland at Disneyland park.
- Matterhorn: Slip-and-Climb – Scale and ascend to the pinnacle, inspired by the cherished Disneyland park attraction Matterhorn Bobsleds.
- Space Mountain: Rocket Race – Dash through the universe, inspired by the iconic Tomorrowland attraction at Disneyland park.
- Star Wars: Stormtrooper Showdown – Combat the First Order, inspired by the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction found in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park.
- WEB-Slingers: Spider-Bot Blasters – Rescue the Worldwide Engineering Brigade HQ from rogue Spider-Bots, inspired by the WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure located in Avengers Campus.
Finishing the minigames will yield exclusive cosmetics, adding extra value to this partnership beyond the typical Fortnite crossover.
The press announcement states:
Disneyland Game Rush invites players into a festive hub—complete with a replica 70th Anniversary sculpture inspired by Sleeping Beauty Castle, light musical elements, and skyline references to renowned Disneyland Resort landmarks. From there, enthusiasts can dive into seven quick-play mini-games inspired by beloved attractions from Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Throughout each experience, players will compete with friends using classic Fortnite gameplay integrated with a genuine Disneyland flair.
