Battlefield 6 Players Who Party Up with PS Plus Subscribers Will Get an XP Boost 1

Update []: Additional information regarding Sony’s promotional collaboration with Battlefield 6 has begun to surface online, featuring various unique advantages for PS Plus subscribers that have been disclosed.

As previously mentioned this week, individuals teaming up with two or more paying members will qualify for a 5% XP enhancement, but the partnership extends beyond that.

PlayStation.com showcases the complete collection of rewards for PS Plus subscribers:

Tier Unlocks
Automatically gain additional tiers when you acquire Battlefield Pro.
Prolonged Access to 2XP Events
Receive extended entry into selected bonus XP events to enhance your development.
Squad XP Enhancement
Gain an XP Boost for your entire squad when two or more players within the squad are on PlayStation.

Sony aspires that, at least among console users, PS5 is viewed as the “optimal platform to experience” Battlefield 6. We are confident that this will be reflected in its sales performance.

Original Narrative: Sony is fully immersing itself in Battlefield 6 now that it no longer has exclusive rights to Call of Duty. Once again, it’s providing rewards for gamers on its platform.

This is relatively insignificant, so don’t get overly thrilled just yet, but if you unite in a party with two or more PS Plus members, you’ll be entitled to a 5% XP increase. You’ll also receive a 5% XP increase simply for being in a party, making a total of 10% XP bonus.

PlayStation tends to provide these types of perks to users on its platforms – especially when it serves as the primary marketing ally for a game. As we pointed out earlier in the week, its branding is showcased prominently across numerous Battlefield 6 advertisements.

Of course, it’s likely that it wouldn’t be promoting the game this vigorously if Xbox hadn’t acquired Activision, as historically it made these types of agreements on Call of Duty. It will be fascinating to observe just how many gamers Battlefield 6 can attract from Black Ops 7 this year.

If your main interest lies in the game’s solo campaign, however, EA’s first-person shooter isn’t precisely launching with tremendous momentum. We characterized it as passable in our Battlefield 6 review in progress, but we’re not particularly enamored with it.

We will be revising our review early next week once we’ve evaluated how the public servers perform. In the interim, you can discover all of the game’s release hours through this link.
