PlayStation Portal Unveils Cloud Streaming Beta via PlayStation Plus
This feature is restricted for now, but Portal users do not need to be connected to a PS5.
Sony is rolling out support for cloud streaming on the PS Portal for PlayStation Plus members.
This information was announced on PlayStation’s blog a couple of days ago, with the feature currently in beta and allowing users to play on the Portal without needing a PS5.
A select variety of titles from the PS Plus library (over 120 PS5 games, as stated in the announcement) are available to stream, up to 1080p/60fps.
This feature is exclusive to PlayStation Plus Premium members and is only available in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and United States.
