Additional titles for the Swap 2 wishlist
Without a doubt, one of the most accessible games of 2024 arrived with the launch of Persona 3 Reload from Atlus. This remake of the 2006 title Persona 3 unfortunately did not make its way to the Nintendo Swap, but we remain quite optimistic (or at least hopeful) that Atlus will release it on the forthcoming Swap 2.
However, it appears that a remake of Persona 4 is also on the horizon, thanks to the discovery of a domain by YouTuber @ScrambledFaz (thanks to Insider Gaming). The domain in question – ‘p4re.jp’ – was registered on March 20, 2025, and seems to strongly imply that ‘Persona 4 Reload’ might just be a reality.
To back this up, ScrambledFaz mentions that the domain for Persona 3 Reload – ‘p3re.jp’ – was also registered two years prior in March, with a full reveal transpiring just three months later. It remains to be seen if an announcement for ‘Persona 4 Reload’ will come quite soon after the third installment, but it certainly seems like Atlus is preparing something special.
Once again, since we do not even have Persona 3 Reload on the Swap, we are firmly in speculation territory at this point. Given the support that Atlus has extended to Nintendo’s platform over the years (including ports of Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal), however, it seems likely that we can expect ports of both P3R and P4R on the Swap 2.
Fingers crossed, anyway.
Are you excited about a remake of Persona 4? Do you believe it and Persona 3 Reload will make their appearances on the Swap 2? Let us know.
