Opinion: No One Is Talking About The Switch 2’s Best Feature
The rapid unveiling and display of the Switch 2’s hardware and tools turned into a complete revelation. So numerous releases! A new version of Donkey Kong! The C button truly does one thing! Indeed, there have been some quite significant issues in the exquisite presentation, yet I believe there’s a significant aspect that Nintendo has greatly underplayed and hardly discussed until we had some hands-on experience with the games.
How many of us actually enable the rumble or vibration feature? With the Switch, I think I turned it off right away because I’m always concerned about the battery life of the console or the Joy-Con. The Pro Controller is different, but I also think I disabled it there as well. It’s just how it’s always been for me, and since controllers have mostly shifted to wireless, that has been my standard practice. Apart from the haptic feedback of the PS5 DualSense, which, unfortunately, has been more prone to drift and rapid battery drain than any other controller I’ve used in my life.
