Grasshopper Manufacture is kindly requesting that individuals avoid visiting its Tokyo studio without prior notice. Indeed, the studio—founded by Suda51 and known for the No More Heroes series—has decided to record an episode of its Dev Room series on YouTube as it may attract more fans unexpectedly showing up at their workplace.

Automaton reported that Grasshopper Manufacture articulated the issue last week on X, indicating “it is simply not feasible for us to accommodate unexpected guests during work hours.” Therefore, the studio is requesting that fans “avoid arriving at the studio without a scheduled, work-related appointment.”

Established in 1998, the studio is best known for titles such as No More Heroes, Killer7, and Lollipop Chainsaw. Last year, Grasshopper released Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered, which doesn’t take itself too seriously. Moving forward, Suda51, whose real name is Goichi Suda, has expressed that his studio will “cook for” Switch 2.

No More Heroes 3 was initially exclusive to Switch for nearly a year before being released on PlayStation and Xbox platforms in 2022, along with PC. While third-party developers have voiced support for Switch 2, no official game announcements have been made yet. This might change during the Nintendo presentation focused on Switch 2 in April.
