ICYMI: Vouchers may not function on Switch 2
In February, Nintendo announced that Game Vouchers would not carry over to the Switch 2 game exclusives on its official site. Recently, in a follow-up, Nintendo has gone as far as reuploading its YouTube game voucher trailer with details emphasizing the same information.
“Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers cannot be used for games that are exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 and may not be combined with any other sale, discount, or promotional offer unless otherwise stated.”
This re-upload has left some fans concerned – so matter settled! Although Nintendo’s restriction of game vouchers to Switch isn’t exactly the best news, as we’ve previously noted – thanks to backward compatibility, users may still be able to enjoy all the games currently available in this deal on the Switch 2.
