Japan exclusively, however English language support is included.
After the debut of the beat ’em up Night Slashers: Remake in September, a physical release has now been confirmed.
The catch is that it is available only in Japan for the time being. Luckily, it will offer English language support. It is priced around $30 USD (or equivalent in your region) on platforms like Play-Asia and is expected to ship in February 2025. The physical distribution is managed by Rainy Frog, and pre-orders are currently open.
This game is based on the Data East release and replaces the classic graphics with a more modern look. In our review, we described it as “exciting to revisit” – featuring new characters, fresh combat mechanics, and more. If you don’t mind the updated visuals, the price tag might make this one worth your attention.
If you would prefer to grab a copy from the Nintendo eShop, Night Slashers: Remake is available for purchase right now at $9.99 / £8.99.
Would you be interested in adding this title to your physical Nintendo Switch collection? Have you played the eShop version yet? Let us know in the comments.
