Mysterious MySims Games Appear and Disappear on EA App
Or were they simply mistaken?
A Sims enthusiast believes they have uncovered clues to unannounced MySims video games.
According to redditor OyeDiego, listings for the MySims Action Bundle and MySims Beacon Bay briefly appeared on the EA app over the weekend, even though neither bundle has been previously validated by the publisher EA.
To support their claim, the user included a screen recording of what they observed.
“Last night, I discovered incomplete pages for MySims Action Bundle and MySims Beacon Bay in the EA app,” the user detailed. “Neither included images nor descriptions, just the titles, PEGI 7 rating, and a release year of 2099.
“It did not allow me to pre-order them, so I added them to my wishlist. As of today, I was unable to find the games by searching for them, but they were still in my list. However, Beacon Bay was causing the app to crash. On the other hand, the Action Bundle remained unaffected.
“When I fully restarted the app, both titles vanished from my wishlist, and I couldn’t locate them any longer.”

While the original poster could not convince all skeptics that the video was indeed captured from the EA App, one user defended their position: “I work as a developer. It would take quite a bit of effort to create an EA app clone just to generate these incomplete pages and 500 error codes. It seems likely that a lot of effort would be required to mimic the interface and setup of the app merely for bait.
“I don’t see any reason why this wouldn’t be true – and the potential reaction of removing the post kind of deters people from wanting to share here instead of on Twitter.”
Various followers speculate that the Action Bundle appears to align with Agents and Skyheroes, while Beacon Bay serves as a nod to a title that only players of The Sims 3 on the Nintendo DS would remember, and could potentially be a long-awaited MySims game.
Is the video genuine? Who knows. However, with The Sims’ 25th anniversary approaching, it is certainly plausible that a collection of older, beloved games could be on the horizon.
