Monster Hunter Wilds made its debut at No.3 on Newzoo’s comprehensive earnings chart for February, despite being released on the last day of the month.

Capcom’s action RPG captured the top spot on the firm’s leading revenue (major game sales) chart, along with the PC revenue chart. It achieved No.5 and No.6 positions on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S respectively.

In terms of overall player involvement, Monster Hunter Wilds held the No.13 rank. Newzoo confirmed that the game featured two initial betas in February, “both of which drew significant audiences and likely boosted engagement.”

Another new entrant on Newzoo’s earnings chart was Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which launched at No.6 with “strong sales figures in its inaugural month,” propelling it to No.2 on the top revenue rankings.

Civilization 7 claimed the No.7 position, with Newzoo indicating that “mixed feedback regarding alterations in game mechanics” could have “limited initial sales.” However, they noted that the game’s monetization model – which includes DLCs introducing new gameplay features – “is anticipated to promote long-term sales.”

Avowed also made it into the Top 20, notwithstanding being a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass. The title achieved No.18 on the individual revenue chart for Xbox and No.9 on its engagement rankings.
