The Game Awards revealed an announcement trailer for the upcoming game linked to the new HBO series, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. This mobile RPG is being developed by Netmarble and narrates a fresh original tale set during the turbulent fourth season of the acclaimed Game of Thrones.
As the heir to House Tyre, a noble family from the North, you will need to carve your own path within the game of thrones while striving to keep your head intact, to put it plainly. You will be able to personalize your heir, choose from one of three classes (Sellsword, Knight, or Assassin), and navigate the complicated politics of Westeros, all while mastering the engaging combat mechanics of your selected profession.
“We believe that Game of Thrones is a world filled with untold stories and adventures, and we’re eager to bring Westeros to life in a thrilling new manner for gamers,” stated Netmarble CEO Young-sig Kwon during the announcement.
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is slated to launch on mobile in 2025, with other platforms to be confirmed.
