Japanese Gaming Charts: Which Successor Reigns Supreme? Hardware Sales Soar Beyond 100,000!
Nintendo’s strategy to promote its ‘Swap 2’ reveal over the past year has seemingly paid off – at least in Japan, that is.
Starting with its release, Super Mario Party Jamboree has once again claimed the top spot in the sales charts, moving an additional 133,542 units and getting ever closer to reaching 1 million in total sales. Meanwhile, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake follows closely behind with another 38,088 copies sold, while a mix of classic, timeless Nintendo games fills the remainder of the top ten (and we’ve got Minecraft making an appearance too).
