An early glimpse at what lies ahead
A new year is approaching! Xbox Game Pass appears to have wrapped up for 2024, but as we await January 2025, five titles have already been affirmed for the service—and there are likely many more on the way.
The standout titles thus far include Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2, all of which will be brand-new ‘day one’ additions to Xbox Game Pass, and we eagerly anticipate exploring these in just over a month.
We will certainly keep you updated on January 2025’s Xbox Game Pass titles as they are announced in the coming weeks, but for now, let’s take a look at the five games that have already been confirmed for next month:
Carrion (January 2)

Eternal Strands (January 28)

Sniper Elite: Resistance (January 30)
“Featuring unmatched sniping mechanics, stealth, and tactical third-person combat, Sniper Elite: Resistance shifts the focus of the award-winning series to a covert war, far removed from the front lines, deep within occupied France.”
Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (January 31)
“A dice-driven RPG set in a touching and human sci-fi universe. You are an escaped android with a faulty body, a bounty on your head, and no recollection of your past. Acquire a ship, assemble a crew, and take on contracts as you navigate the Starward Belt.”
