James Wan to Bring Indie Horror Hit “Pacific Pressure” to Television
Renowned horror director Wan obtains rights to adapt the riding game into a television series
Pacific Drive is the most recent game to receive the Hollywood makeover.
According to Variety, prominent horror filmmaker James Wan has acquired the rights to transform the riding game into a television series through his Atomic Monster production company.
Wan will serve as an executive producer for the series alongside Atomic Monster’s Michael Sure and Rob Hackett, as well as Jeff Ludwig from The Menagerie Productions.
At the time of this writing, the series has yet to be linked with a specific streaming platform.
Ironwood Studio’s independent survival horror sensation, Pacific Drive, has surpassed 600,000 copies sold worldwide.
Developer Red Barrels has also recently entered into a partnership with Lionsgate Studios and It and New Line producer Roy Lee to produce a film based on the Outlast
