About a year ago, back in late 2022, the Pure Xbox YouTube channel was brought to life by our dear friend and exceptionally talented video creator Craig Reid, and he has done a fantastic job building the channel by nearly 30,000 followers thanks to his dedication.
Craig has delivered some very popular and genuinely high-quality content on YouTube, including reviews, previews, comparisons, lists, guides, and Xbox Game Pass summaries, all of which have garnered over 100,000 views each.
Unfortunately, amidst the many challenges the industry is currently facing, a decision has been made to discontinue the Pure Xbox YouTube channel. This means Craig will no longer be collaborating with the team at Pure Xbox; however, the staff will continue to stay in close touch with him, and we are confident he will move on to amazing opportunities in the future.
We asked Craig for some farewell thoughts earlier today, and here’s what he had to say:
“Working with the incredible team at Pure Xbox has been a career highlight for me. They are not only some of the most skilled individuals but also truly wonderful people. While the decision to shut down Pure Xbox on YouTube is a challenging one for me personally, I wish nothing but success for Fraser, Ben, PJ, and Liam as they continue with Pure Xbox.”
“However, this isn’t the conclusion for me! I’ve been diligently working over the past week to establish my next project, Game Friend. This channel will allow me to continue hosting all of the latest gaming content.”
