Jagex Welcomes Jon Bellamy as New CEO: A Fresh Chapter Unfolds
Jagex has appointed Jon Bellamy as its new CEO.
Phil Mansell – who has led Jagex since 2017 – will remain with the company “for a period of time to ensure a seamless transition.”
Bellamy has been a member of Jagex’s board since 2024 and offers experience from Huuuge Games, along with previous executive positions at Jagex.
“On behalf of the board, I would like to genuinely thank Phil for his guidance and contributions to Jagex over the last 14 years,” stated Marc Allera, chairman of Jagex.
“Under Phil’s direction, Jagex has undergone significant changes, evolving into the company it is today while consistently remaining true to its player-focused ethos – achieving an all-time high number of Old School RuneScape players in Q4-2024. We all wish him the very best and are confident he will continue to accomplish remarkable things in the future.”
“This is a thrilling moment for the company as we strive to deliver a world-class gaming experience and unveil new content, including the eagerly awaited Sailing skill for Old School RuneScape in 2025. We’re optimistic that under Jon’s leadership, our journey will continue to thrive.”
