InZOI Set to Unveil Future Updates and Pricing Strategies at Upcoming Showcase

InZOI Studio is hosting a worldwide presentation later this month to explore the intricacies of its forthcoming life simulation competitor.

We’re only about a week away from the early access launch of Krafton’s The Sims possible rival, and to give everyone an idea of what to expect, the developer is organizing a livestream event set to begin on March 18 at 6pm PST, or March 19 at 1am GMT for the night owls across the ocean, which can be viewed on YouTube and Twitch.

InZOI Studio has been openly discussing the exciting new features of its life sim, including a karma system that will allow ghostly Zoi to linger after death, NVIDIA AI technology to animate its characters, and the ability to convert real-life photos into in-game items. Therefore, game director Hyungjun ‘Kjun’ Kim will also cover “new release information such as key features arriving in early access, a vision and roadmap for future updates, and pricing and DLC strategies” during the showcase.

Any information about inZOI’s pricing has been surprisingly under wraps until now, leaving us in the dark about whether we will need to pay a single upfront fee or if it will adopt a free-to-play model. The mention of DLC plans suggests that inZOI may feature more traditional Sims-style expansions and content packs, though this doesn’t completely rule out the possibility of an in-game store or other microtransactions as well. We will find out soon enough.

The showcase is also set to include various developer interviews to “share behind-the-scenes stories and insights into the game’s development process.”

InZOI is scheduled to enter early access on March 28.
