InZOI creator Krafton has eliminated a glitch that previously allowed players to run over and harm individuals, including minors, with their vehicles.

According to a report by IGN, InZOI players were taken aback to find that committing such outrageous (yet amusing) actions was possible in a game rated Teen by the ESRB, particularly one that makes no mention of the capacity to run over youngsters with a car. While the ESRB’s description does reference death by “traffic accidents,” it does not specify vehicular assaults on minors, with these presumed youngsters being flung through the air using ragdoll physics.

However, you could indeed witness this occurring in a rather NSFW video posted on Reddit with the title: “I don’t think that Krafton realizes that you can run over children in InZOI.”

Although many commenters concurred that running over youths with cars in InZOI sounds incredibly entertaining, the developers behind the game disagreed. In a statement to IGN, a spokesperson for Krafton stated, “this issue stemmed from an unintended bug that has been fixed in the latest update” and “these portrayals are entirely inappropriate and do not align with the vision and values of InZOI.”

“We acknowledge the gravity of this issue and the importance of age-appropriate content, and we are enhancing our internal review procedures to avoid similar occurrences in the future,” Krafton added.

The studio’s life simulation game launched this week, receiving rather mediocre reviews from critics overall, with our own currently unscored review describing it as “a lifeless imitation of the least appealing features of The Sims.” Even more disappointing, you will not be able to play Rocket League using children as the ball.

As Krafton resolves the InZoi bugs, developers “advise avoiding repeated marriage and, if necessary, continuing primarily when there are no children involved.”
