Innovative Game Studio Seven Stars Aims High with Seed Funding for Revolutionary Puzzle Titles
Finnish developer Seven Stars has secured an undisclosed amount of seed financing to enhance its team and development process.
According to PocketGamer, a significant portion of the funding originated from venture firms Spintop, Sisu Sport, and Gaze. Additional financing was provided by other investors, with the European Union contributing funds towards the studio’s “R&D project.”
Sisu highlighted that this signifies the company’s latest investment in a Finland-based enterprise, and recognizes Seven Stars’ “capability to efficiently create exceptional puzzle experiences.”
Seven Stars was established in 2022 by former Tridify CEO Alex Le Bell, alongside fellow leaders CTO Olli Aurola and creative director Markus Tuppurainen.
In a statement, the developer articulated its ambition to “create the next generation of puzzle games, combining innovation with extensive industry knowledge. Our team, with backgrounds at Moon Active, Rovio, Seriously, Next Games, and Small Giant Games, is committed to expanding the frontiers of mobile gaming.”
Regarding that game, Sisu asserted that the undisclosed launch “demonstrates a robust creative DNA integrated with the entrepreneurial mindset needed to thrive in a competitive mobile market.”
