
India’s Pioneering Gaming Publisher Secures Initial Funding Round
Three titles are already slated for 2025, with six to eight additional “scheduled each year.”
1312 Interactive – the first dedicated PC and console game publishing house in India – has successfully completed its pre-seed funding round.
Established by “experienced gaming professionals Deepak Gurijala and Raviteja Mantena,” 1312 Interactive expressed its commitment to “discover, support, and publish premier indie and AA games for audiences worldwide,” with initial backing from Akshat Rathee and Gautam Virk (Nodwin Gaming / Goodgame Investments), Rajat Ojha (Gametronics), Sridhar Muppidi (YesGnome), Tanay Tayal (previously with Moonfrog), Founders of Playsimple, Vatsal Chintalpati (ExMachina investment partners), and Rick Herman (formerly of Sony, Amazon).
Founders Deepak Gurijala and Raviteja Mantena remarked: “India is home to some of the most skilled game developers, yet our footprint in the global PC and console landscape has been minimal. 1312 Interactive aims to change that.”
