Indiana Jones: The Epic Adventure with a Record-Breaking Runtime on Xbox

Get ready!

Indiana Jones and the Expansive Circle marks Xbox’s final major first-party release of the year, and it appears we can expect quite an extensive experience when this adventure arrives on Xbox Game Pass next month.

In a relaxed brief interview where MachineGames developers fielded over 100 rapid-fire questions regarding the game, the team indicated that their forthcoming Indiana Jones experience is “by far the largest and longest game” they have ever developed.

We didn’t receive any precise numbers here, but the studio’s previous title — 2017’s Wolfenstein 2 — took around 10-12 hours to complete the main story, with more than 15 hours for side quests — so you can expect Indiana Jones and the Expansive Circle to be significantly longer.

And, we’re inclined to believe it. Last month, we had a hands-on experience for over three hours with The Expansive Circle, and it felt like we had merely barely scratched the surface of this globe-trotting Xbox adventure. Some of the locations included here are vast, sprawling areas — and we’re eager to spend a substantial amount of time with this game early next month.

Indiana Jones and the Expansive Circle launches on Xbox Game Pass on December 9, with early access starting on December 6.
