Season 1 of Marvel Rivals is rapidly approaching, but before its release, NetEase has revealed a wealth of details about Marvel Rivals, including win rates and pick rates. This information is categorized by quick play and competitive modes, featuring distinct sets of data for PC and console. The following list is arranged by popularity based on console competitive, though each character will also have their PC statistics included.
Many of the ranking placements here may not be entirely accurate considering the characters that have been popular since launch, yet it’s essential to note that numerous Duelists, even the latest entrants, show lower pick rates compared to the least popular Vanguard and Strategist heroes. This can be attributed, at least in part, to the fact that there are significantly more Duelists—18—compared to the limited options in the Vanguard and Strategist categories, leading to a wider distribution among Duelist picks. Additionally, it’s worth mentioning that in Diamond and higher lobbies, there are two bans per team, which likely influenced the pick rate of some of the more prominent heroes, such as Hawkeye and Hela.
Another fascinating aspect of this data is the win rates across both console and PC competitive modes. The vast majority of heroes fall within a 5% range around 50%—either above or below—suggesting that while certain heroes are indeed stronger than others at the moment, the overall difference in matches won is less significant than one might expect, particularly for a hero shooter with a large roster of 33 heroes.
