Heroic Showdown: The Marvel Opponents Battle Pass Season 1 Unleashed!

Marvel Rivals Season 1 has launched, following the abbreviated Season 0, which initiated the debut of the 6v6 hero shooter. Season 1 introduces two new heroes to its lineup of beloved characters: Mr. Incredible (Duelist) and Invisible Woman (Strategist). These two will be available at the start and forefront of the season, while the remainder of the Fantastic Four, Human Torch (Duelist) and The Thing (Tank), will be included as part of the midseason update, which is expected to arrive around 45 days after Season 1’s release.

The narrative of Season 1 centers around the Fantastic Four battling to save New York from Dracula, who has initiated the Eternal Night and taken control of the city. The new maps take place in this version of New York, and much of the cosmetics in the Season 1 battle pass are themed around this scenario, providing characters with Van Helsing-like transformations.

The Season 1 battle pass features 65 items, including 10 skins, MVP highlight animations, and currency. The Season 1 battle pass costs 950 Lattice, which is just under $10, but the premium version does include 600 Lattice and 600 Tokens, with Tokens usable in the cosmetic shop.

Some highlights from the skins featured in the battle pass include All-Butcher Loki, Bounty Hunter Rocket Raccoon, Blood Edge Armor Iron Man, and Blood Berserker Wolverine. All of these give the heroes a vampiric appearance, although not all costumes adhere to the theme. As previously confirmed, Marvel Rivals battle passes do not expire, allowing players to continue unlocking the items they paid for even after the season concludes.
