Helldivers 2 Launches Exciting Crossover Event Featuring Iconic Killzone 2 Cosmetics

Helldivers 2 has introduced its inaugural crossover DLC, incorporating Killzone 2 cosmetic items.

This crossover is part of a new exclusive Premium content tier, as stated by developers Arrowhead, indicating that additional collaborations may be forthcoming.

“We decided long ago that crossovers should only occur when they align perfectly with the game,” the Steam announcement notes. “In that vein, we are thrilled to reveal our very first crossover: Killzone 2.”

Available now in the Store are new armor sets, primary weapons, player banners, capes, and player titles.

A subsequent collection will be accessible starting December 23rd.

The announcement also suggests additional content: “High Show informs us that beyond the Store items, there is also an extra Killzone 2 reward for all Helldivers based on your performance in the Galactic War…”

This partnership also signifies the start of a prolonged item rotation in the store, as Arrowhead plans a five-day rotation schedule.

“Currently, many of you believe the items are rotated for too brief a period, causing you to miss out on that coveted look you’ve been eyeing,” it stated. “However, the more items we introduce to the store, the lengthier the wait becomes for them to reappear in rotation.”

Following this collaboration, the store’s item rotation will revert to its usual cycle as the developers compile feedback.

Last week, a Helldivers 2 limited edition controller was unveiled.
