Guide: Mario Kart World: Course List
Mario Kart World appears to be the most ambitious title in the series so far, featuring 24 racers on each course, additional game modes, open-world driving, and a plethora of new features.
After a decade of Mario Kart 8, our excitement is palpable for a fresh set of tracks. Although Nintendo has yet to unveil every course available in the Switch 2 open title, we have thoroughly explored the trailers, screenshots, and Treehouse Live footage to bring you the following list of tracks confirmed thus far.

Mario Kart World – Track FAQs
Here are some frequently asked questions regarding the tracks in Mario Kart World.
How many tracks are in Mario Kart World?
We don’t have a definitive answer yet, but we can speculate. Each Cup features four races, and with seven known cups, we estimate there will be around 28 different tracks.
However, a worldwide illustration (above) shared on the Nintendo website displays 29 circuit icons. Could one Cup include five races? Is there a circuit designated only for Knockout Mode? We’ll need to wait and find out.
Are there any returning tracks in Mario Kart World?
There are several familiar track names in Mario Kart World (such as Wario Stadium, Sky-High Sundae, etc.), although we must acknowledge that they have been redesigned to accommodate the game’s new features like 24 racers.
What is the best Mario Kart World Track?
Well, it’s still too soon to make that judgment! Editor Gavin had a blast on one track, which he described as “similar to Toad’s Turnpike but with a lot of traffic on a bridge.”
He also mentioned he nearly won, so perhaps we should revisit that discussion later once we have had a chance to experience more tracks.
