A $25 World of Warcraft crossover mount package is available at no cost in Diablo 4 for players who own the expansions for both games, but only for a limited duration.

The Invincible mount package in Diablo 4 is typically priced, featuring a collection of items themed around WoW’s Lich King. It includes his loyal mount, Invincible, alongside trophies themed after the Lich King’s helmet, Helm of Domination, and his renowned runeblade, Frostmourne.

These are just some of the items that users of The War Within and Vessel of Hatred can claim for free.
These are just a few of the items available for free to owners of The War Within and Vessel of Hatred.

To obtain the package at no charge, players need to own both Diablo 4’s Vessel of Hatred expansion and WoW: The War Within before January 7. Blizzard indicates that the package will be provided to eligible players by January 13. Both expansions are currently discounted through War.shop until January 6, with Vessel of Hatred at 25% off and The War Within at 30% off.

For those who predominantly spend their time in Azeroth, several free rewards are also available there. A collection of Diablo-themed cosmetics from WoW’s Grasping Emissary Diablo 4 launch event, many of which are no longer available, will also be automatically unlocked for players who possess both expansions. These rewards include the Amalgam of Rage mount, Tome of Town Portal toy, the Baa’lial pet, and additional items.

This is just the latest free offering for Diablo 4 players. Blizzard recently distributed free level 50 character boosts to all Diablo 4 players, with Vessel of Hatred owners receiving two free boosts. The boosts fully equip players with a new set of gear and automatically unlock all of the game’s stat-boosting Altars of Lilith. Blizzard mentioned that the purpose behind the boost is to provide returning players with a fresh starting point following the game’s significant Loot Reborn and Vessel of Hatred updates earlier this year. The two updates significantly redesigned Diablo 4’s loot and endgame systems, rendering many older items and builds from the game’s launch outdated.

WoW recently celebrated its twenty-fifth anniversary. To mark this occasion, several Blizzard games, including Diablo 4 and Overwatch 2, introduced WoW-themed cosmetics. Blizzard announced during a Warcraft anniversary livestream that player housing will finally be introduced in the MMORPG with its upcoming expansion.
