AN ABUNDANCE OF GREEN

Gaming accessory manufacturer 8BitDo has today introduced two gorgeous new devices – an Xbox-themed gaming mouse and matching keyboard. Both of these products are set to launch next month and are already available for pre-order on Amazon US by the company.
We are currently gathering all the official information regarding these devices — we attempted to reach out earlier this week for additional specifics but did not receive a response — however, the official Amazon listings indicate that the devices are specifically designed for Windows PCs and Android devices.
In the meantime, indeed, the keyboard is up for pre-order on Amazon – and we’ll include the 8BitDo product link for the mouse below as well:

Now, even though the keyboard listing above mentions that the product is “not for Xbox consoles,” here at the PX office, we have been using the same keyboard with an NES theme, and it functions perfectly well. We’re not 100% certain if these Xbox versions will be compatible, so please wait for more official information if you’re planning to use these exclusively with a console – but they should work, at least in wired mode.
With that minor caveat addressed, here are further details on each of these new Xbox-themed devices:
8BitDo Retro R8 Mouse – Xbox Edition:
- Designed specifically for Xbox. Officially licensed.

This new Xbox-themed mouse and keyboard set will be available on January 16th, 2025 – and the mouse itself, which is currently listed as unavailable on Amazon, should become available at the retailer shortly.
