The classic Virtua Fighter will be available on Steam for the very first time with the release of the new Virtua Fighter 5 REVO edition on January 27. Fans can grab a discounted preorder for the Steam edition at Fanatical, where the standard edition is now only $14 (previously $20), while the 30th Anniversary edition with additional content is priced at $35 (down from $50).
By preordering either edition, you will receive three character customization items inspired by classic Sega consoles like the Genesis, Saturn, and Dreamcast, allowing you to enhance your favorite fighter.

Virtua Fighter 5 REVO will incorporate rollback netcode for online matches. This has become the preferred method for online fighting games as it ensures smoother gameplay experiences globally, and its inclusion in Virtua Fighter 5 REVO positions it alongside the online capabilities of other modern fighting titles like Street Fighter 6. The game will further support 4K resolution, enhanced textures, and numerous balancing updates to the 19-character roster. With the expertise of Dragon developer, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, new modes have also been integrated, including 16-player online tournaments and leagues.
