Genki Unleashes Some Slick New Switch 2 Accessories
There are currently a variety of first-party accessories available online and ready to launch alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 upon its release on June 5th. In fact, many of us may have already acquired a manual to view all of them in one place, because we prefer it that way.
With Nintendo’s official launch accessories now completely revealed, Genki has stepped up with its range of Switch 2-specific gear and, to be honest, we want it all.
With Hori recently showcasing some customization options for the Nintendo Switch Camera in the form of some cool Piranha Plants, and JSAUX — a brand that has truly delivered with their Steam Deck line of accessories — also already boasting comprehensive lineups of protective cases and various gadgets, Genki’s lineup certainly faces some competition. Fortunately, it all looks quite stylish and fit for purpose.
The Genki Joy-Con Station, depicted below, can charge up to four of your Switch 2’s Joy-Con instantly and, even though we have seen this quad design in numerous cases before, this one truly appears sleek and modern.
With a pricing of $49.99 / £35.99, the Joy Station presents an elegant way to position your four Joy-Con on well-crafted plastic trays, which then transform them into full controllers while also recharging them. When in use, these grips can also be connected via USB-C, should you wish to utilize them when your Joy-Con are completely drained. Quite impressive.
Genki has also introduced an Energy Pack, retailing at $69.99, which magnetically connects to the back of your original console, allowing for charging at 30w speeds. So for those concerned about battery life, take heart, some attractive boosts are on the way.
For $49.99 / £43.00, the company also offers the Genki Attack Vector, a three-part shell case designed for dock-like compatibility. This includes three different sizes of grips that attach around the Joy-Con very seamlessly.
Meanwhile, the $29.99 Force Field 2 is a lightweight shell that also accommodates the Switch 2 stand and the console’s dock.
Completing the accessory range, we have a $19.99 screen protector, the Aegis Shield (which you can also obtain for an additional $10 with the Force Field 2), a $42.99 Sleeper Case designed to secure your console when tossed into a bag, and finally, a set of three plastic cases that protect 12 games per unit. This Mimic Chest, as they’re calling it, is priced at $19.99.
Pre-orders are currently open for all of these accessories (you can also check this link out) and it’s worth noting that the entire collection is available as a mega bundle either with the Force Field 2 Shell ($184.99) or with the Attack Vector ($199.99). Phew!
