“Frost Fatales Tournament Unleashes Exciting Charity Speedrunning Lineup”
With this year’s Superior Games Performed Hasty (featuring the remarkable Elden Ring saxophone performances) officially concluded, arrangements are efficiently commencing for the Frost Fatales charity speedrunning event by Games Performed Hasty. The organizers have now released a comprehensive schedule ahead of the event occurring in March.
For those unfamiliar, Frost Fatales is the yearly winter edition of Games Performed Hasty’s all-female and femme charity speedrunning tournament (its summer counterpart is called Flame Fatales), and this year’s event will span from March 9th to March 16th.
Specifically, the excitement begins at 5pm BST on Sunday, March 9th, with a Cuphead Any% No Major Glitches speedrun performed by Vicky_spleen. After an entire week—featuring more than 60 speedruns—the event concludes with a one-handed Celeste Any% speedrun by SawaYoshi, scheduled for 3:23am on March 16th. In between these highlighted runs, there will be a captivating selection of various games to watch, including popular blockbusters, retro classics, indie hits, and quirky surprises.
A quick review of the recently released schedule showcases titles such as Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Cult of the Lamb, DuckTales: Remastered, RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, Clock Tower 3, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team, Hylics, and many others—alongside a three-character “girl squad” Final Fantasy X-2 speedrun employing entirely female characters.
