“Still Xbox Bound”
One of the notable announcements from yesterday’s Switch 2 presentation, viewed from an Xbox standpoint, was the revelation that Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade was confirmed for Switch but not Xbox – however, it apparently remains on track for release on Xbox this year.
According to well-known insider “NateTheHate” on social platforms, who shared insights with a Pure Xbox member “awp69”, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is still slated for this year, whereas Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is anticipated on Xbox in 2026.
This was initially reported by the same leaker back in January – they asserted at that point that FF7 Remake was targeted for 2025 and FF7 Rebirth for 2026, while both titles would also be arriving on the Nintendo Switch 2. It was further indicated that Final Fantasy 16 was coming to Xbox, but it notably did not show up during the Xbox Developer Showcase as expected.
That’s your update, then – although, as with all rumors, you should take them with a grain of skepticism. If we receive any news regarding Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Rebirth, or Final Fantasy 16 on Xbox, we will inform you as soon as possible.
Which of these titles would you be most eager to play on Xbox? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
