For example, if you choose the Expert Musician Ambition, you begin by finding an instrument and playing it three times; the second phase requires you to play drums ten times while feeling sentimental; and the final phase demands that you max out your instrument skill (all instruments fall under this one skill) and play guitar twenty times.

The most valuable donuts might be those that provide you with an emotion—it becomes exceedingly difficult to accomplish your ambitions without them. Take, for example, the music ambition that requires you to engage in music while feeling sentimental, and a donut that keeps you sentimental for six hours. Without the donut, you would have to wait until you naturally experience the emotion you need, which may never occur when you actually require it. Fortunately, the emotion donuts are the least expensive available, costing just 30 NyanCoins each.
Ambitions aren’t the sole way to earn NyanCoins, although they’re undoubtedly the quickest method since they yield a significant amount upon completing all three stages of an Ambition. You can also acquire small amounts through other routine means, such as fulfilling your Zoi’s wants (these are spontaneous desires like “I want to catch a fish and eat it”) or meeting your job performance goals.
