Veteran Atlus composer Shoji Meguro is at the helm of his own game that is set to debut a demo very soon, and it appears to be a fusion of Persona and Metal Gear Solid.

Weapons Undarkness is the charmingly titled game from Meguro, who is now focused on design and musical projects after composing for several Shin Megami Tensei and Persona titles over the past two decades, as well as the recent Metaphor: ReFantazio. It contains all the elements you may cherish from Atlus’ classic titles – relationship systems with your squad members that enhance your abilities in its turn-based combat, all set in a futuristic environment struggling with weapons of mass destruction. This time, there’s an additional element at work since Weapons Undarkness also incorporates stealth gameplay, intriguingly. While infiltrating enemy facilities and navigating treacherous corridors, you can bring along a few allies to take cover, maneuver through, and then strike at adversaries when the moment is right. “Hidden or not, once you engage the enemy your team will spring into a turn-based battle,” the Steam description notes.
