Three new Sonic the Hedgehog Lego sets have sprinted onto store shelves this month. The largest in the lineup is a $45 playset inspired by Sonic X Shadow Generations, featuring updated versions of the two hedgehogs. Tails enthusiasts can control his Cyclone mech in a confrontation against Metal Sonic in a new $30 set. Additionally, Lego has introduced the sphere launcher in Sonic’s Campfire Clash, which is a $20 playset highlighting unique Sonic elements.

Lego Sonic – Sonic’s Campfire Clash (177 pieces)

This is the most affordable of the trio, yet it still includes some exciting interactive components. Featuring four figures (Sonic, G.U.N. Beetle, G.U.N. Hunter, and a Tocky), you’ll get to create a sphere launcher that propels Sonic forward to zoom past adversaries. Add in three Gold Rings and additional accessories, making it an excellent little playset for $20.
Lego Sonic – Clean Shadow vs. Biolizard (419 pieces)

Engage in a battle against the furious Biolizard with this 419-piece set. You will create a movable Biolizard, a sphere launcher, and play with minifigures of Shadow and Sonic. Lego Sonic – Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic (290 pieces)

Assemble a Cyclone for Tails to navigate, complete with a set of tools for “maintenance” before heading into combat. Showcasing flexible legs, a stud shooter, and a concealed compartment for a Chaos Emerald, this set offers plenty of building options and stands over 5.5 inches tall while only utilizing 290 bricks. Alongside a Tails minifigure and a buildable mech, you’ll also receive a Metal Sonic minifigure to face off against. Metal Sonic is indeed more villainous than the Biolizard.
All Sonic the Hedgehog Lego Models
The trio of recent Sonic Lego sets joins an already remarkable assortment of playsets and construction kits themed around the Sega mascot. Sonic made his debut within the Lego Ideas line back in 2022 with the Green Hill Zone Display Model featured above. This 1,125-piece set brings to life the iconic starting zone from the original Sega Genesis game. It remains the largest Sonic Lego set available, and is currently offered at a fantastic discount. Amazon andWalmart is offering Lego Sonic Green Hill Zone at a 30% discount.
In the final offering, a 720-piece Shadow the Hedgehog Playset was released for $70 exclusively at the Lego Store and Target. The excitement of the Lego Sonic line includes playsets such as the latest releases and Brickheadz figures. Several Sonic Lego sets are set to retire soon and are already sold out at various retailers.
In particular, for those interested, the Green Hill Zone Loop Set is still available while Best Purchase currently offers it for $81 (originally $100). The 802-piece playset is sold out at other major retailers.
Meanwhile, Barnes & Noble is featuring four additional Sonic Lego sets that will soon be discontinued, available at the following prices: Dr. Eggman’s Death Egg Robot for $60, Tails’ Workshop for $40, Amy’s Animal Rescue Island for $50, and Sonic’s Speed Sphere Set for $35. The latter is quite similar to Campfire Clash.
