We believe a release date has been confirmed

Following the challenging launch of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, developer KT Racing outlined a year one plan for the game. Now, the initial significant update from that plan is about to arrive – the comeback of Ibiza.

Now scheduled for December 11th, Ibiza makes its comeback from TDU2; serving as the second playable map for Record Solar Crown. The new location will launch with the game’s second season, which is expected to introduce a new Solar Cross, fresh vehicles, new clan progression levels, and more.

This new map was first unveiled before the disappointing launch of the game, and considering the delays to fix existing issues, we were partly expecting this update to be postponed until next year – but no, it’s coming in just a few weeks on Dec. 11th.

A couple of months ago, we reviewed the subpar game on Xbox Series X and walked away fairly dissatisfied with Nacon’s new open-world racer. You can read our detailed review of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown below – and let’s hope that Ibiza’s debut marks a genuine turning point for this Xbox title.
