Epic Games Unveils This Week’s Free Sports Game and Teases Upcoming Releases!

Thursday has arrived, which means that the latest free offering from the Epic Games Store is now live – and to celebrate its launch, Epic has unveiled the upcoming two games that will also be available for free in one week.
First on the list for those seeking instant excitement is Brotato from developer Blowfish, which can be downloaded for free right now until next Thursday, December 5th. It is a top-down arena shooter roguelite where players, taking on the role of the titular potato, battle against waves of aliens using up to six weapons simultaneously. Unfortunately, I won’t provide you with Eurogamer’s review as it hasn’t been evaluated yet, but I can tell you that it currently holds an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam.
Looking ahead to next week’s Epic freebies – which will replace Brotato in a week – you can expect some public transport antics in Stillalive Studios’ Bus Simulator 21, along with a family-friendly sci-fi adventure in TT Video Games’ Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
The latter game, when viewed from afar, presents a Lego-themed retelling of all three Star Wars movie trilogies, blended with exploration and collectible collecting across a vast range of original-world planets.
