Donkey Kong Dominates UK Charts, Leaving Rivals in the Dust

Nintendo’s latest release, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, has debuted at number one in the UK following its launch on 16th January 2025.

This is a strong start for the remaster, which has faced some criticism online regarding its pricing in the months leading up to its launch. Nonetheless, despite our belief that the game may not be quite the definitive version of Retro Studio’s original Wii classic, it is still definitely worth checking out if you haven’t played it before.
