Joy-Con 2’s pointer-style input could pave the way for fresh Nintendo Switch 2 experiences, one of which is the newly launched Drag x Drive. This 3-v-3 wheelchair basketball title leans on those mouse-like sensors for movement, and the most ergonomic setup is resting the controllers on your thighs. Sadly, not every trouser texture cooperates, so GameSpot put a range of legwear through their paces.
For the sake of transparency, we tested the game on exposed skin first. Sliding works perfectly, but it stings. Certain gamers might tolerate the burn; we moved on. Fabric choice turned out to be crucial for both comfort level and control fidelity.
The clear disappointments were ribbed yoga leggings, bulky cargo trousers, and traditional men’s slacks. Drift and imprecise tracking were the shared flaws. Plain office slacks performed adequately yet sacrificed comfort.
Denim jeans ranked highly, as did cozy sweats. Still, only two contenders hit the absolute top tier for silky feel and flawless response: velvet bottoms and a maxi skirt. Your own closet may yield other gems, yet our data is decisive.
Drag x Drive is out now on Nintendo Switch 2 for just $20.
