Wednesday season 3 has finally found its mysterious Aunt Ophelia in another Tim Burton collaborator

Following the conjecture regarding who might portray the character in Wednesday season 3, the enigmatic Aunt Ophelia has been officially cast. Eva Green will assume the role (via Deadline), depicting Morticia’s sister in the upcoming edition of the Netflix series.

Aunt Ophelia had a minor part in Wednesday season 2, although only the rear of her head is actually visible, rendering the actress behind Ophelia, who will apparently function as a counterpoint to Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday, still hidden.
