Walmart has revised their prices for the new Switch 2 amiibo, aligning with the recent price hikes at GameStop.
At the retailer in the US, the cost for the newly released Zelda amiibo—which includes Tulin, Yunobo, Sidon, and Riju—has been set at USD $29.88 each, while the Street Fighter 6 amiibo is priced at USD $39.88 each. This reflects a $10 increase across all newly introduced amiibo figures.
Nintendo has not yet issued an official comment regarding these prices, meaning these retail adjustments may not represent the “official” cost. However, the fact that two major retail chains in the US have adjusted their prices is causing some concern among fans.
This development follows last week’s official announcement from Nintendo regarding a new pre-order date for the Nintendo Switch 2 and its accessories in North America and Canada, where price increases for accessories were also revealed.
