Game-Key Card launch also validated

Sega this week astonished Yakuza enthusiasts with the revelation of Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties for the Switch 2.

This title will be arriving on Nintendo’s latest hybrid console early next year on 12th February 2026, and while we have already received a preview of what to anticipate, the group at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has now unveiled a “first glimpse” of the combat mechanics in Yakuza Kiwami 3.

In case you overlooked the announcement, this “enhanced edition” is inspired by Kazuma Kiryu’s original PlayStation 3 game, which debuted in 2009. Dark Ties introduces a fresh narrative centering on Yoshitaka Mine (Kiryu’s rival). This compilation pledges to deliver not just thrilling confrontations but also additional cutscenes and reimagines the original experience with state-of-the-art graphics.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties is set to debut for Switch 2 on 12th February 2026 and will be offered as both a digital and physical release, with Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio affirming its game-key card launch. Prior to this, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 are scheduled to arrive on Switch 2 this November. As previously stated, these titles will also receive game-key card launches.
