Launching June 5th
- by Liam Doolan
The GameCube collection is making its way to the Switch 2’s online ‘Expansion Pack’ level this June, and one of the three launch games in this series is Link’s cel-shaded journey The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.
Nintendo’s new application ‘Nintendo Today!‘ has been revealing some extra clips of this title in gameplay on the Switch 2, showcasing further gameplay footage from earlier this week. This includes Link utilizing all his tools to navigate various challenges, and you can even glimpse him playing some music.
This comes after some gameplay for the same title, illustrating Link’s interactions with numerous NPCs and showcasing some narrative elements. Nintendo Treehouse also provided some gameplay, which you can see in our earlier coverage.
If you’re eager to experience this game on the Switch Online service upon its release in June, keep in mind it remains exclusive to the Switch 2’s ‘Expansion Pack’ tier. Accompanying it will be Soul Calibur II and F-Zero GX.
Will you be exploring Wind Waker on the Switch Online service? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
