After being dormant on the GameCube for years, F-Zero GX is finally making its return with a fresh selection of GameCube titles for Nintendo Switch Online on the Switch 2.
Nintendo has also unveiled extra footage of the forthcoming title through the Nintendo Today! app, which has graciously been shared online by TodayNews. This clip provides a closer look at the game’s Story Mode, including numerous cutscene snippets alongside some exciting gameplay.
For a more comprehensive preview, Nintendo Treehouse has released some actual gameplay footage ahead of the anticipated launch date on 5th June 2025.
F-Zero GX will be joining The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and SoulCalibur II as part of the initial offerings for the GameCube NSO app on Switch 2. The service will start on the console’s launch date, with additional games planned for future release.
